The web designer produces visual solutions to communicate messages for our clients. Most work is two-dimensional and used on the internet, although plenty of work is required offline as well, including advertising campaigns, magazines, posters and corporate communications. Our graphic designers have to be very familiar with web design. The work demands creative flair, up-to-date knowledge of industry software and a professional approach to time, costs and deadlines.
Work includes;
1. Developing concepts based on briefs from the clients prepared by other staff;
2. Reporting to Art Directors on concepts and time required
3. Presenting finalized ideas to the manager.
4. Prepare flash animations, flash banners and other banner formats
5. Work on designing static and dynamic websites
Skills
•Extensive understanding of X/HTML and CSS languages Flash and Actioscripts, object-oriented programming, and database technologies; able to work comfortably within various programming and technological environments (CMS’’D5s, PHP, JavaScript, AJAX, etc).
•Proficient in common web standards practices to make sites fast loading, easy to maintain, easy to upgrade, intuitive to use, cross-browser compatible, accessible to users with disabilities, rank high in search engines, and display content based on medium (screen, print, handheld, etc.)
•Comprehensive experience working with Adobe Creative Suite/Web Suite to create visually aesthetic site-mockups, creative & web-ready graphics as well as pre-press materials.
•Bachelor’s degree and highly creative with a strong comprehensive portfolio.
•Fluent in English and Arabic Languages (Speaking / Writing)
