BACKGROUND/ JOB PURPOSE STATEMENT:
The Web Developer will be responsible for the all aspects of developing websites and Web applications. Provides expert technical leadership in website development, with emphasis on fully leveraging the content management system. Recommends objective and comprehensive technical options for business problems and mentors/guides other team members.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To design and develop the corporate website ensuring strong functionality and optimisation
- To design and develop relational database systems and their web interfaces.
- Responsible for integrating the SQL Server database with the company website.
- Responsible for the design of company web pages, including graphics, animation and functionality.
- To develop web page infrastructure and application related to pages with more advanced graphics and features.
- To assist the Company Director in the planning of overall company strategy regarding web development and search engine optimisation.
- To monitor web server and site technical performance.

Skills
- 3+ years professional experience programming for interactive or web-based projects.
- Knowledge of Visual Studio, Dreamweaver, Flash, Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Coding skills in ASP.NET, PHP, ActionScript and HTML .
- Experience with blog and other CMS systems is a Plus
- Proven Web and Database Development experience.
- In depth ASP.NET, PHP, JSP, JavaScript, CSS and (X) HTML knowledge
- Strong database knowledge specifically SQL Server and MySQL
- Web / Graphical Design skills would be desirable.
- Firm understanding of Web technologies and their possibilities and limitationAbility to analyze and problem solve
- Exceptional problem solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and efficiently.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and orally
- Ability to self-manage and work well in small team environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Detailed and multi-task oriented
- Flexible in order to meet shifting priorities.
- Highly organized with strong time management skills. Should be able to deliver under tight deadlines.
- Strong strategic design, concept and communication skills
