Zee Alwan marks Middle East premiere of Asrar Al Banat narrating glitzy stories of teenage life in Istanbul

Dubai, UAE; March 20, 2013: Zee Alwan, the entertainment channel aimed at Arab family audiences, has marked the exclusive Middle East premiere of Asrar Al Banat, a compelling Turkish series that unspools the glitzy tales of spoiled teenagers in Istanbul.

Conceptualised by one of Turkey’s renowned production houses, TIMS Production, Asrar Al Banat derives its name from the Arabic phrase for ‘little secrets,’ and is a spin-off of the American teen drama television series, Gossip Girl.

The series not only brings tales of the teenagers, who put on an ostentatious display of their wealth, which often leads to uncalled for street fights and ego tussles. Their often frivolous, sometimes disturbing, and almost definitely captivating tales make Asrar Al Banat one of the most popular shows in recent times.

Zee Alwan, which offers a diverse array of Arabic serials and popular Indian and Turkish series that are dubbed into Arabic, telecasts Asrar Al Banat at 7pm KSA time, Saturday to Wednesday, with a repeat every other day at 1pm. Zee Alwan is available through frequency 12417 on Nilesat and 12111 Arabsat.
