NIKE kicks off excitement in Jordan with a first of its kind event!!
Being a sports marketing fan I couldn’t miss one of the best sports branding events in Jordan, the sportswear giant NIKE reopened its stores in Jordan at the Wakalat street in Sweifieh. The event was so vibrant with all the lights, the music and most importantly the dancing and sports activities, which were performed by Elie Attieh and Patsy, two renowned sports instructors who flew from Lebanon specifically for this event. We all participated in this exercise session by practicing Tae Bo and Hip Hop Dance. Energy, excitement and determination were in the air. The feeling was amazing seeing everyone doing the same steps and following those two instructors’ leads.
I had the chance to meet a lot of interesting people from the top management of NIKE; I had an interesting chat with Nike’s GM, for the Middle East, Mr. Nassib Haddad, I also met several people like Christine Harb, Fadi Barghouti, Ziad Khoury and George Mchuhawar, big people behind this Big Brand Name.
I liked the header on their invitation card: “What a better way to end a busy week than with a free exercise session!” it was one of a kind experience to practice outdoor sports in the middle of Sweifieh. I can officially say that it’s a first in Jordan. I’ve attended couple of events by Memac Ogilvy PR in Amman, always surprising! Good job guys!
Here are some pictures of the event:
