The world of books authoring goes user-generated with Authonomy

Authonomy is an interesting initiative by the UK-based publisher HarperCollins, the website is an online community for writers, readers and publishers, where they can interact and rate each others work. The idea it to give the opportunity for writers to upload and share their work (books) with readers and other writers, and the beauty of the site is that the top 5 books will be reviewed by HarperCollins editors each month, and get the chance to be printed.

Lots of writers, potential authors, have great stuff but they don’t get the chance to publish their books, for a reason or another, and this website is opening the chance for writers to publish their work, and for readers to read books that they won’t find in any bookstore.

I was reading this funny book, Space, by Alexander McNabb, it’s about Ben Jonson, a doctor in London who is living a wonderful life, except of the one cloud on his horizon, communicating with his housemaid, and all of the sudden a roast chicken appears out of nowhere! Ben never wanted to save the world but he finds himself racing against time, the Russian Mafia and the world’s intelligence agencies in search of something, what is that thing? Find out!
