Working into 3Line (UK producer) and alongside UAE based animation studio, the key responsibilities of the Arabic Producer will be:

1. Adapt the English script into Arabic – working closely with animation studio, the dubbing company, the script writers, the Broadcaster (if secured) and the educational advisor. They will need to be fluent in English and ‘White Arabic’ (both written and spoken). Their role will be to ensure that we have the correct ‘Arabic’ throughout the production and they have approval over the final adaptation.

2. Work alongside the ‘children’s coordinator’ at animation studio to ensure that all procedures for working with children are adhered to, that all the relevant paperwork is completed and to assist in the implementation of booking the children from audition through to record. They will be required to attend all children’s sessions including auditions to ensure cultural mix and language is correct.

3. They would be required to attend record sessions (both V/O and
greenscreen) to ensure that the quality of the Arabic delivery and any cultural/script issues are dealt with that may arise during the records.
They would also be required to attend the dubs to make sure that the final Arabic version is correct.

4. Work alongside the animation studio Series Director and Producer to ensure that the production is running to schedule and budget and produce weekly production reports to 3line. Liaise with 3line and twofour54 for budget cashflow drawdown on a monthly basis and ensure that all legal and administrative paperwork in relation to production is completed.

They will also require full approval authority from twofour54 to ensure that the schedule and budget are adhered to.

Skills
It’s essential that this person is able to work under pressure, be flexible, organised and have the ability to multi task across a busy schedule. Preferably they would be based in AD for the duration of the schedule.
