Graphic Designer | Abu Dhabi, UAE
The Graphic Designer is responsible for
· the design and the layout of publications
· planning layouts
· cropping and editing images
The Graphic Designer
* Coordinates with the Editor to ensure the most accurate and up-to-date text information.
* Coordinates with the Publications Director, the Design Manager and the Photographers regarding images to be used in festival publications and other materials.
* Ensures to meet all deadlines set by the department head
* Manages and maintains graphic files, including logos, photos and art.
* Stores and archives all designed materials and photos
* Submits all designed materials in digital format after the festival to the festival management
* Provides a full wrap report after the festival, including a summary of work done, challenges encountered and suggestions for the next year.
* Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
· Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills
· Computer literacy to include Microsoft Office, and designing software
· Experience in designing different types of print material and publications
· Commitment to working with shared leadership and in cross-functional teams
· Strong oral and written communications skills in English/Arabic.
