Interactive / Graphic Designers | King Saud University Riyadh

The Interactive/Graphic Designer will work with web designers and developers in the creation of rich interactive experiences. The ideal candidate will be an expert in scripting with Macro media Flash action script and action script 2.0 with a proven track record in interactive media design; certification as a Certified Macro media Flash Developer is desired.

Post-secondary design degree or equivalent, with the following qualifications 3-5 years of industry-related experience. Mastery of Macromedia Flash action script and ActionScript 2.0. Expertise in well-formed XML and SQL database interaction. Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator and Macromedia Dreamweaver. Familiarity with the latest web production techniques, especially CSS, XHTML and JavaScript Ability to work in a team environment An understanding of web standards and compliance Ability to follow changing task prioritization Advantage: Certified Macromedia Flash Developer Full website project life-cycle experience Must Understand Arabic Fluency in English Proven experience merging interactive media with new and existing website layouts and an understanding of design aesthetics is required. Additional experience with the design and production of websites that feature dynamic content and an understanding of user interface (UI) design principles is preferred. Work will include the development of interactive virtual tours, data-driven slideshows and galleries, typographic animations, sound and video editing, and the development of innovative interactive solutions for websites. Candidates must have a portfolio of previous work and code samples available for review.
