Established in 2008 the company is a joint venture between the Government of Abu Dhabi and a leading developer in the United Arab Emirates. Their mandate is to oversee the construction of a world-class sporting venue and its successful ongoing operations. This state-of-the-art venue will be host to an international sporting event, which is part of a string of world-class sporting events undertaken by Abu Dhabi.
The objective of this role is to oversee the planning, development and implementation of all major events within the Marina complex. This will include fostering VIP relationships with local and international dignitaries, liaising with security forces to control access to and from the sporting venue and managing berth allocation.
This role reports to the Head of Operations and offers the potential of career progression within the organisation.
Requirements
* UAE National
* A Diploma in Event Management or a related field
* Engineers will also be considered
* Minimum 5 years experience in a similar position
* Thorough knowledge of end-to-end event management issues, policies, and procedures, including exposure to V.I.P clientele
* Able to troubleshoot problems, seek creative solutions and manage effectively
* Passionate about the UAE and being an ambassador to the country
