Group Marketing Manager | Cairo, Egypt
The Company:
Rare opportunity to join hugely successful diversified retail organization in a senior Marketing capacity. With operations throughout the Middle East region you will be based in Cairo but with regional responsibility for all retail brands marketing direction, in conjunction with internal & external resources including advertising agencies etc. This position reports to the COO and has responsibility for full team & fiscal management.
The Position:
• Development of annual business plans, associated budgets and marketing strategy for the retail division
• Day to day management of the marketing team
• Work on annual marketing / promotions calendar in line with international brand partners
• Perform required market research on competitors, performance analysis
• Work with internal and external media companies preparing advertising material for campaigns throughout the GCC
• Be involved in building & implementing new CRM / e-marketing initiatives
• Provide necessary public relations releases to media as required
• Working with international Brand partners to coordinate necessary brand marketing integrity
Your Experience:
• Minimum of 6 years commercial Marketing Management experience. It is essential to have recent retail marketing with a large corporate / international retailer
• Broad Marketing experience including team management, e-marketing, CRM, campaign management, event development & GCC experience
• Proven abilities in managing annual marketing budgets
• Creative and innovative thinker
• Strong people management & leadership
• Ability to travel internationally as required
• Used to working with Media & advertising companies on providing effective & innovative briefs for campaigns
• As this position is primarily based in Egypt this role is only open to Egyptian Nationals at this time
