Senior Market Research Analyst | IDC Dubai
The position is created to support IDC’s expanding market research business in the Middle East and Africa. Join the IDC’s regional branch, and work with an international team dedicated to research, event and advisory services.
Responsibilities:
- conduct primary and secondary research in vertical markets and oversee the project deliveries (verticals such as finance, public, energy, manufacturing health etc.);
- analyze business and market trends for IT spending in the vertical markets, provide detailed conclusions;
- work with quantitative market sizing and forecasting analytical tools;
- prepare thorough and well-organized reports, writing of summaries & conclusions;
- contribute to consulting engagements;
- play a role in business development by building and maintaining industry relationships and assisting in sales efforts.
Skills
We require:
- experience as Analyst with excellent written and spoken English;
- IT business experience as a must;
- relevant work experience in research is strongly preferred;
- market research or industry-specific knowledge is a plus;
- University degree or equivalent.
Candidate has to be able to demonstrate:
- knowledge of IT markets in general or in detail;
- sales orientation and an entrepreneurial mindset;
- ability to discuss and analyze technical issues;
- aptitude for business analysis and quantitative analysis;
- ability to work independently and collaboratively;
- excellent writing and presentation skills;
- proficiency with Excel and other MS Office software packages.
