Account Manager | Dubai, UAE
Our client, a large group of companies is seeking to recruit an Account Manager to join the highly successful team in Dubai.Reporting to the Sales Manager, you would be responsible for the sales of IT Telecom products and solutions in the region.Your main job responsibilities would include Attending meetings with clients to explore sales opportunities and providing advice based on client requirements as well as developing the customer base further. Collecting market information on various aspects such as prices, models, competitors, profitable regions etc whilst liasing with the Sales Manager and Partners as part of the task Being a vital as part of the role to lead the process of tendering as well as planning and scheduling project implementation and delivery Meeting pre-allotted sales targets Planning, arranging and visiting customers to explore sales opportunity Identifying customer requirements, needs and suggesting matching products Liaising with technical staff to tap technical problems of customers Expanding and developing customer base Planning and scheduling project implementation and delivery plan Monitoring and following-up on outstanding payments Coordinating with Sales Manager and Partners for product information and clarification Checking on stock level and enhance availability Collecting market information on competitors, prices etc Leading the whole process of tendering.
Skills
To be successful for this role, you should be a degree or diploma holder in Sales and Marketing with 3 to 5 years experience in the capacity of sales person in IT industry. Fluency in English and Arabic languages are required knowledge of any other languages is considered an asset. You should be an excellent seller, highly motivated and customer service oriented with good technical know how. You should be able to form excellent relationship with customers and vendors including internal staff operations and technical staff. You should have an ability to meet sales objectives on a monthly basis. As this is a sales role, you should be willing to travel around Dubai. Possession of a valid UAE driving license is needed.
