Responsibilities:
1. An experienced Arabic writer with an impressive body of work, preferably with an advertising background. Candidates coming from a literature, broadcast, theater, journalism or public relations background will also be considered.
2. Comfortable with classical as well as spoken Saudi Arabic and Arabic street slang.
3. As copywriter, will be expected to play an active part in ideas generation, originating his own ideas as well as working together as a team with creative directors and art directors to generate ideas.
4. Excellent understanding of English. Capable of turning English copy into beautiful Arabic, not through literal translation but by creatively adapting it into its best Arabic expression.
5. Also capable of turning Arabic into English back-translations that the English copywriter can polish. Ability to progress English on his own will be a major plus.
6. An excellent Arabic proofreader with a sharp eye for Arabic grammar. He will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of all Arabic work coming out of the agency both below- and above-the-line.
7. A resident of Riyadh or willing to relocate to Riyadh.

5-10 years of experience of innovative design experience in a design, consulting or advertising firm with multi-industry clients; at least 2 years experience motivating and leading teams.
Extensive knowledge of typography, layout, color sense and the latest design tools including Photoshop, QuarkXPress, In Design and Illustrator.
