• Handle multiple accounts independently and earn clients’ trust by continually meeting deadlines; being a proven adviser and always being strategic.
• Identify incremental business opportunities on current accounts and new business opportunities with prospects.

• Responsible for the daily supervision of SAEs, AEs and assistants. This includes being aware of their target utilisation on accounts, working with other team members to ensure that monthly goals are achieved and addressing any problems with line manager and subordinates.
Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations or other relevant field.
• At least 5 years direct PR agency experience.
• GCC experience preferred.

Internal Communications (20%)
Manage internal communication throughout the bank’s growth, and ensure that all staff understand the business & where it is heading
Write and disseminate local newsletters
Ensure the GCC’s visibility in global publications (newsletters, annual report, etc), web radio, etc.
Quarterly video-taped message + web radio by management
Ensure effective communication in every quarterly staff lunch across the region. (aim for one communication mention in every lunch)
Share releases and important announcements with staff
Create & conduct a survey or focus groups to understand if staff read current internal news generated from Gulf Communications
Measure internal perceptions
Launch a communication campaign to change the perception of the communications department
Create & Manage an internal facebook (or similar IT-based tool)
Organise the annual Territory meeting, gathering the bank’s top heads in the GCC.
Events (30%)
Coordinate with the team, events agencies, and communication relays to organise high-profile events that serve all business lines and functions
Support business lines in the organisation of their own events by providing branding and approving all collateral
Corporate Social Responsibility (10%)
Work with the CSR outsourced team to ensure effective implementation of the bank’s CSR projects.
Visual identity and branding (5%)
Coordinate with Corporate Communications Coordinator with regards to all visual identity
Coordinate with graphic designer and ALL other departments with regards to all collateral, greeting cards, diaries, brochures, folders, printing documents, etc.
Management (5%)
Creation, implementation, and reporting of Corp Communications plan (Internal and External) and budget
Requirements

As the successful candidate, you must be able to read and write Arabic with good English. You should possess three years public affairs and communications experience, coupled with a strong understanding of the cultural bridge across Western and Middle Eastern cultures, with good knowledge of socio-political dynamics in the Arab world.
