There are variety of reasons as to why companies elect to conceal their identity, chief among them is their ability to operate below the radar while trying to raise the bar of their efficiency ,sometimes they would be thinking about replacing some of the existing nonproductive staff, other times they would be hoping to attract some inquiring visionary minds. In short blind ads aren’t reflective of the quality, strength, or financial well being of the outfit that is placing the ad. If you see one and it seems fitting to your qualification and experience, go a head and apply for it, it could be the career path that you have been dreaming about for quite sometime, like they say: You never know until you try.

in my opinion, big and/or trustworthy companies will be proud to declare its identity and its logo (e.g. Orange, e-sense, Umniah, TRC ), to attract the experts and professionals.

In the addition they will say what will the employee gain from working with them; the experience, the career benefits, number of employees and they will -for example- mention the working environment .. etc. (as if they are advertising for the vacancies, e.g. T-Mobile doing this.)

I will never apply for a *unknown* company anyway, and am sure professionals don’t do this as well, if a company is too shy to declare its identity then it’s unworthy.
