Marketing Intelligence Officer | Abu Dhabi, UAE

Established by the Capital’s major development, real estate and finance companies, our client offers attractive mortgage products to a wide range of clients, with outstanding client service sitting at the heart of everything the company does.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team, based in Abu Dhabi reporting to the Product Development Manager, the Market Intelligence Officer will be responsible for the design and delivery of the company’s market intelligence capabilities, comprising market research, competition monitoring, client satisfaction and brand awareness focus groups & mystery shopping.
Activities and responsibilities will include: Develop market research capabilities (market economic research, competition monitoring and client satisfaction surveys), conduct regular mystery shopping for competition monitoring, gather a regularly updated database of information concerning the market, the competition and the clients, build database and library comprising reports, economic and financial indicators.
Skills
In order to be considered for this role candidates must possess the following:
Post graduate degree
Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing research within a retail bank, mortgage finance company or leading market research firm
Track record of strong research, product development or marketing capabilities, preferably within the lending products capacity (loans, credit cards etc)
Very good knowledge of the UAE market and of the information/data sources available
Very strong numerical skills for evaluation of market sectors
Excellent English (written and oral) skills.
