Click the photo below to explore it!

This shot was taken on the 23rd of April, 4,250 individual shots taken with a Canon 7D and the 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L zoom at 400mm. Total shooting time circa 3 hours 30 minutes, in 37C heat. They’ve done several projects similar to this one, including the Obama inauguration that we reviewed before.

Apparently the owner is leaving Dubai so she decided to sell it, but for 56,000 AED, yes 56,000! Although I really like the car, I’m not sure if it’s classic enough to worth all that, but you have to admit, it’s a creative way to sell your car! I liked the idea and I wished I had that amount of money to spear to buy it.

Thrilling? Oh yeah. Amazing? Indeed!

The experience was really great, starting with the elevator journey, I liked how the lighting and music kept going faster and more dramatic the more you go, makes you feel as if you are travelling into space, then it all stops once you are there, at the top.

The observation deck is awesome, it gives you a 360degree-kind-of view over Dubai, you can see all towers and high rise buildings looking so tiny from up there, from Burj Al-Arab to The Address Hotel and Emirates Towers, and not to forget The World project, Dubai Mall, and Souk Al-Bahar.

Here are some photos and video I took while I was there, but no camera can capture the experience, nothing matches being there to enjoy the horizon.

JBR is one of my favorite places in Dubai, I found myself taking these photos for the buildings there, the last one is my favorite hope you’ll enjoy!

Memac Ogilvy & Mather won the Agency of the Year, and it was followed by two other Dubai-based agencies TBWA\RAAD and JWT, while Starcom Mediavest was named Media Agency of the Year, and was followed by OMD and Leo Burnett, I guess.

Ramzi Raad received the Advertising Person of the Year, while Saudi telco STC was awarded the Advertiser of the Year award.

Melody Aflam campaign “Arabic movies mother of all foreign movies” won the Grand Prix for TV/Cinema, I love this campaign and I was expecting it’s going to win! I will try to feature as much as of winning work as possible here on this blog, stay tuned!
