Dubai Lynx TV/Cinema, Interactive, Radio and TV/Cinema Craft shortlists announced

143 entries have been shortlisted in the TV/Cinema, TV/Cinema Craft, Interactive and Radio categories at this year’s Dubai Lynx Awards, the largest awards celebrating creative excellence in Mena’s advertising and communications industry.

327 entries were submitted in these categories with 82 TV/Cinema, 18 TV/Cinema Craft, 13 Radio and 30 Interactive entries making it through to the shortlist.

The winners of all categories, including the Dubai Lynx 2010 Agency of the Year, Media Agency of the Year and Network of the Year will be revealed during the Awards Ceremony that will take place tomorrow evening 17 March.

A record number of delegates attended another busy and inspirational day of seminars and workshops, which included presentations by Chuck Porter, Co-Chairman of Crispin Porter + Bogusky on ‘Award-Winning Work: How It’s Changing And How It’s Not’; John Hunt, Worldwide Creative Director of TBWA\Worldwide, talking about ‘The Art Of The Idea’; Contagious and Publicis Worldwide presenting their session ‘Change The Conversion!’; and the three jury presidents, Amir Kassaei, David Nobay and Barry Cupples, addressing the audience.

The Festival events will continue into the evening with networking at The Dubai Creative Club party. The 3rd Dubai International Advertising Festival, the leading competition and awards for advertising creative excellence in the Middle East and Africa, will be held 14 – 16 March 2010 at The Palladium, Dubai, UAE. The Lynx Awards will take place on 17 March 2010.

Presented by Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival together with their regional partners, Motivate Publishing, the Dubai International Advertising Festival is held with the support of Dubai Media City (DMC) and in association with the UAE Chapter of the International Advertising Association (IAA).

The 3rd Dubai International Advertising Festival will bring to the Middle East and Africa a series of high profile seminars, workshops, exhibitions and screenings aimed at giving creative inspiration, learning and networking opportunities to the advertising and allied industries in the region. The Lynx awards, which are part of the Festival, will honour creative excellence in TV/Cinema, Print, Outdoor, Radio, Direct Marketing, Media, Interactive, Craft and Integrated advertising. High-profile international jurors will award the coveted Dubai Lynx trophy to establish the definitive standard for creative excellence in the Middle East and Africa region.
