The Role

Reporting to the Senior VP of the Energy Sector, my client is looking for a Director of Events, you will be responsible for one of the regions largest events that can only get bigger.

Managing a multi-million dollar event with a team reporting in, this role is truly one of it’s kind.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be a B2B Events expert with at least six to eight years event management experience, managing event/s over 10,000 net meters, preferable in the Middle East and in the Oil and Gas sector.
You will have a successful track record in staff management and development of a business, in addition you will have a very strong knowledge in financial budget management.

A naturally strong marketing & Sales track record with experience gained in International marketing of events, you will have the following attributes:

• Track record of event innovation and development
• Will have worked on multi layered events, spanning exhibitions, significant sponsorship and conference programs
• Able to be based in Abu Dhabi or Dubai (office based for the most part in Abu Dhabi
