Job Purpose:
Write press releases and feature stories related to all AWPR activities for publishing in local, regional, and international media and develop content for AWPR internal and external corporate communication. Maintains and enhances excellent working relationship with Arabic/English national, regional and international media and maintains AWPR media database.

Key Tasks and Duties
• Write press English and Arabic releases and feature stories related to AWPR activities for publishing in local, regional and international media.
• Develop contact for AWPR internal and external corporate communication such as internal newsletter corporate memoranda, corporate brochure, annual report, membership magazine and other items on an as needed basis.
• Develop content for video news releases, film storyboard as well as alternative media such as networking sites and radio networks.
• Maintain and enhance excellent relationship with the existing English/Arabic national, regional and international media and initiate new relations with potential ones,
• Organize AWPR press conferences and attend assigned meeting and conferences as required.
• Document and record media coverage related to AWPR’s business.
• Keep abreast of professional development such as new techniques and current issues through continued education and professional growth.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Communication or relevant field.
• 3 to 5 years relevant experience.
• Language fluencies in English & Arabic.
• Any other languages would be an added advantage.
