Events Director | B Communications Dubai, UAE
Strategizing, conceptualizing, planning, improving, directing and managing the overall running of a portfolio of new and existing events services both in and outside the UAE. This role would suit a proactive candidate who will remain updated on the latest industry market knowledge, with strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team by planning and implementing development programmes, providing leadership and direction and acting as a positive influence and a trustworthy management ally.
Exceptional creative energy and vision is required. As well as allocating the workload of your team you will be taking accountability for the production of proposals and pitches for number of events including corporate functions, road shows and gala dinners, identifying pertinent opportunities, creating successfully deliverable concepts, managing high profile accounts and serving as primary relationship manager for all new clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and motivated individual, with strong negotiation and communication skills, to prove that they are willing and able to go the extra mile and achieve outstanding results within a dedicated and enthusiastic team
Ability to work on a range of corporate events, MICE and production of BTL/ Exhibition stands.
Skills
•Build strong relationships with clients.
•Build strong relationships with other seniors in the company and the group.
•Attend the major events happening in the market.
•Analyze & Maintain budgets.
•Attend networking events and seek any opportunity
•To make sure the team is aware of all new things related to the industry.
•Site visit during the event execution and coordinate with the events manager for any sort of assistance needed.
•Create and maintain a staff promotion plan.
•Create a training program on topics related and needed in the events industry.
•Willingness to work longer than normal office hours.
•Ability and willingness to travel.
•Excellent time management.
