Events Manager | Dubai
- Manage and supervise the activities of personnel, subcontractors, venues and vendors as required to successfully execute the assigned events with budgetary control
- Develop pricing strategies, balancing firm objectives and customer satisfaction
- Evaluate financial aspects of event / seminar / service, such as budgets, expenditures, research & development appropriations, return-on-investment & profit-loss projections
- Act in a Sales/Marketing capacity for the department by digging up for new clients and building a strong relationship with the existing ones
- Provide information and guidance for the client in order to obtain accurate event specifications
- Produce an effective events related database for international artists, venues and vendors
- Designing, Selling and Marketing Sponsorship proposals
- Manage client service needs with all related aspects for requested catering, audio-visual concessionaires, security and other services
- Implementing new ideas for all events categories
- Acts as a liaison for the client to insure successful execution of program and see that their needs are met
- Supervise, monitor and control event billing per client contracts;
- Develop, establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, vendors, employees and the general public
- Design and produce venue set-up diagrams as required
- Supervise a setup crew; Develop, implement, maintain and enforce operational procedures; and perform other duties as may be required
