The Role

The Marketing Assistant is a key member of the business development and marketing (BDM) team. Reporting to the Head of Business Development & Marketing, the Marketing staff members main function is to assist in all aspects related to the implementation of marketing, communication and business development activities.
- Assisting with the preparation, review and maintenance of marketing collateral
- Maintaining web-based marketing content
- Project managing marketing campaigns
- Assisting with the preparation of proposal/pitch documents
- Preparation of legal directory submissions
- Organising and coordinating marketing events and client hospitality in line with marketing objectives
- Managing and liaising with suppliers
- Carrying out marketing research
- Assisting with PR activities
- Managing a client contacts database

Requirements

Qualified applicants must have:
- Bachelors degree or relevant qualification in marketing, business studies/economics, law or social sciences
- 1-2 years experience in a mid level business development or marketing role within a professional services organisation
- Legal marketing experience preferable

Suitable candidate must have:
- Excellent writing skills with keen attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong team player with a flexible, proactive and collaborative attitude
- Effective communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with a variety of cultures and nationalities
- Excellent project management capabilities
- Advanced use of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
