Our client is a global leader in the FMCG consumer industry supplying an extensive range of household cosmetic brands globally. Due to significant growth over the last couple of years throughout the MENA region they are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Research Manager
Become trusted advisor of the whole marketing department (4 divisions) by helping identify, prioritize, and address market intelligence needs
Apply the proper research methods for each specific need
Perform primary and secondary research and analysis
Perform segmentation and assist marketers in the targeting and positioning process
Advise marketers on intelligence findings and apply knowledge to marketing plan
Track performance of marketing process
Perform Competitive Intelligence
Subscribe and leverage secondary data resources which are in regular use in the industry and economically beneficial
Requirements
Degree in Marketing or Business Administration
At least 5 years of experience in marketing research
Desirable professional background in one of the following MNC: P&G, Unilever, Coke, Pepsi, Nestle, Market Research Firms
Excellent quantitative aptitude and marketing acumen
Good PC skills in Excel and PowerPoint
Good persuasion skills, assertive nature
Specific Knowledge:
Working knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods
Familiarity with primary and secondary information acquisition
Understanding of segmentation, targeting and positioning process
Self starter being able to work under minimum supervision
Initiative and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
Assertive, determined, flexible and creative personality
