Al Hoshan Receives the 2009 Best Performance Award for Middle East

Hoshan Company Limited (HCL) Saudi Arabia’s leading office technology company, won the prestigious annual award “Best Performance Company in the Middle East” for the year 2009 at the annual awards presented by Konica Minolta Business Technology INC., one of the largest manufacturer of multifunction product systems in the world. The awards ceremony was held in Japan, and attended by Konica Minolta, distributors and subsidiaries from several regions & countries.

Hoshan Co., Ltd. won the Konica Minolta Award prevailing over 10 distributors from the Middle East, having met all the required standards, including those relating to sales, marketing and after-sales services. The award took into consideration a wide range of performance criteria for quality and quantity.

This is the third award in last four years won by Al Hoshan Co., Ltd., a new achievement added to the company’s track record of achievements in providing cutting edge office solutions and technologies to a wide range of sectors in the Saudi market. The award also recognizes the outstanding performance and exceptional sales achieved by Al Hoshan Company in the Middle East.

The award was received by Mr. Iftikhar Awan, Marketing Director, Hoshan Co., Ltd., during a gala ceremony held for the occasion in Japan, and attended by Konica Minolta senior executives and subsidiaries & distributors from all over the world.

On this occasion, Mr. Rakan Al Hoshan, Chairman, Hoshan Co., Ltd. said: “We are very happy to win the Best Performance Award in the Middle East for the year 2009. Such recognition will reinforce the company’s market leadership, as it demonstrates Konica Minolta’s confidence in Hoshan Company and its ability to provide the best services and high quality technical solutions to its customers in the Saudi market.”

Mr. Al Hoshan also highlighted that the new award will be added to the long record of recognitions and awards that the Hoshan received from Konica Minolta. The company also had received the award of the Best Distributor in the Middle East for the years 2006 and 2007, which underscore the fact that Al Hoshan is the best distributor of Konica Minolta products in the Middle East region by providing the best services and technology solutions to the growing Saudi market.

The he added: “Hoshan Company managed to achieve substantial growth and remarkable increase in the sales of multifunction colour printers over the past year, relying on its quality of sales and after-sales services provided through 20 branches, and 30 service centres located across the Kingdom. The strength and quality of Konica Minolta products also contribute tremendously in strengthening the brand name of Hoshan Company in the Saudi market. ”
