Jordan Internet City… Coming Soon!

Emirates Business 24-7 reports that Amman will have an internet city similar to Dubai Internet City and Smart Village in Cairo. According to the newspaper, the work on the first phase of this project will start in August 2008 with a projected budget of 1.1 Billion Dirhams, and will extend over more than 700,000 square meters.

Jordan Internet City, which will be located near Amman airport, will include one business tower and five 8-stoery high buildings that can fit up to 1,000 information companies. So far 65 companies reserved offices in the development.

The project will be developed by Al Shamel Properties Investment and Development, a Sharjah-based property developer.
