Communications Manager | Manpower Professional Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
The Role
Our client, a global energy company, is currently seeking to recruit Communications Manager to be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. You will be reporting directly to the Director of Communications
Job Purpose:
Focus on developing a strong country-to-company communications program in Saudi and putting together a roadmap for building the company brand as well as supporting to key business communications initiatives in the country.
Key Responsibilities:
• Represent the company in Saudi and execute on the communications strategy in support of our country-to-company business objectives;
• Enhance employee engagement and outreach activities to build advocacy around the company brand and country-to-company effort;
• Develop content and execute for various corporate communications programs and initiatives encompassing above and below the line programs, online and digital, and PR;
• Management of Saudi’s stakeholder mapping and public affairs program targeting healthcare policy;
• Work on company’s citizenship initiatives in the country through local programs and events as well as support the diversity groups such as company Volunteers and Women’s Network.
Requirements
Minimum 8-10 years experience in communications, with active understanding of wider communications mix; employee, external comms – TV, print, radio, events etc.
• Proven track record in delivering high quality communications programs and material/output.
• Experience with the media/journalists is key to this role
Skills & Knowledge:
• Excellent level of spoken and written English and Arabic required;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Individual must exhibit strong interpersonal, writing and presentation skills;
• Excellent program manager; must possess superior organization & creative skills;
• Ability to juggle priorities and meet numerous deadlines;
• Able to interact professionally at all levels of the business;
• Previous agency and/or multinational experience preferred;
• Self-motivated, creative and energetic.
