The 18th Dubai Shopping Festival is just around the corner, another month of festivity and shopping and excitement, and thats one of the things I love about Dubai, festivity goes all year round; from the Shopping Festival to the Summer Surprises, to the Global Village and Eid Celebrations, to the sporting events, new year’s fireworks, to all the concerts, conventions and entertainment events, the city is always buzzing.
How do you communicate all of that in one ad? It’s by showcasing the best the city has to offer, the best of small and big things that make our moments so special. Here is the new commercial for the DSF’2013, it was created by City Films Production in Beirut Lebanon, it’s such a beautiful piece of work, I love the visuals and the copy, very very nice!
Personally what was so special about this commercial is that it got in touch with Dubai’s past, the focus is always on the newer parts of the city like the Marina and Downtown and the Palm, while older areas like Deira and Bastakia and Satwa are a bit neglected, it was great seeing the Creek and the Spice Market meeting Burj Khalifa and Burj Al Arab, such an amazing combination!
I really liked the new commercial of the Dubai Shopping Festival, as a resident of Dubai who loves and enjoys the city, and as an ad man!
