Objective:
Examine, identify & grade diamonds and various coloured stones; Evaluate their genuineness, quality, and value, utilizing knowledge of gems and market valuations. Do weight estimation of diamond & colored stones from jewellery & watches; revaluate of repurchased jewellery, price separation of jewelerry set.
Principle Accountabilities
1. Use a variety of equipment to examine diamonds and varous coloured stones; identify and grade the same.
2. Detect flaws, defects, or peculiarities affecting gem values.
3. Grades stones for color, perfection, and quality of cut.
4. Carry out verification and valuation of jewellery.
5. Understand shop requirements and arrange for supplies accordingly.
6. Ensure all the bags of sales return and verification are being sent to the shop on time.
7. Regularly interact with the Sales team to keep self aware of customer requirements and feedback.
8. Visit shops for inspection on regular intervals.
9. Do weight estimation and valuation for altered Jewellery.
10. Undertake complaints verification and mismatching Jewellery valuation.
11. Do revaluation and verification of returned Jewellery from sales.
