Account Manager – Health | Edelman Abu Dhabi, UAE

The Role

Supporting work around health authority Abu Dhabi.

Responsibility for managing project teams’ performance as it relates to client service and quality control.

Serve as a daily contact and as a client lead when appropriate.

Overview see quality and operational performance of the account, ensuring work quality and deadline adherence.

Help mentor, coach and support team members and ensure staff are constantly developing abilities.

Build network of industry clients and participate in relevant professional organisations and networking activities.

Requirements

3-4 years experience in public relations, or a related field including research, advertising, management consulting, media and publishing.

Ideally western trained in the healthcare space

Proven ability to manage large projects as well as a small team.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Be able to work with senior staff to develop execute communications plans based on client goals.

Contribute to new business process, including identifying new business opportunities.

Participate in cross-practice and cross-geographical teams to provide clients and prospects with the most compelling team and proposal.

Demonstrate understanding of core financial constructs including revenue, profitability, pricing structures (hourly vs. retainer accounts), budgeting and forecasting.

Assist with the development of accurate project budgets using the firm’s financial system.

Effectively work within account budget parameters and deadlines.

Track and monitor project financials (e.g., budget vs. actual)

Help ensure Edelman’s financial policies and processes are followed by your team Leadership.
