Reporting to the VP Corporate Services you will be responsible to establish and enhance the understanding and appreciation of the business of the company via focused marketing communication programs.
Key Accountabilities As a member of the Executive team participates and contributes to the development and refinement of the vision and strategy for the company Power Projects, and contributes to the overall process of management and corporate decision making to ensure the organization maximizes its short, medium and long term profitability and returns to its shareholders. Develops Communication plans and programs (i.e. Public Relations and Marketing Communication). Develops and gains agreement to the annual operating budget for the Corporate Communication function. Monitors expenditure against approved levels. Effective financial provisions for Corporate Communication activities. Performance standards match or exceed established criteriaDevelops and maintains Communication programs that bolster the companies image with stakeholders and the public at large and delivers a consistent message of professionalismProvides expert Communication advice and services to the organisation and undertakes special assignments in order to establish and protect the companys positioning and exposure in the marketplace.Value of Communication and PR advice is recognized and effective relations with various public and private sector entities to ensure their continued support of the companies programs and operations.Establish regional and international pertinent contacts to promote the company and develop its image and that of the Kingdom as an attractive investment partner and locationGovernment agencies respond favorably to company requests, Company name, reputation and image are well accepted locally, regionally and internationally
Skills
B.A. degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Advertising or Marketing an MBA degree is desirable. 10 plus years experience in the communications field covering media relations, PR campaigns, preparation of RFPs to Advertising Agencies, event management, production of marketing communication tools, etc. Strategic thinking capabilities. Effective team player.Fluency in Arabic and English essential.
