POSITION SUMMARY
An experienced crisis communications practitioner tasked with managing the crisis communications for the organization. This includes managing the crisis communications for the corporate entity and hospital specific requirements. A keen interest in published and broadcast news information, as well as attention to detail and timely response capabilities are essential. Demonstrate judgment and self-sufficiency in effective problem solving. Requires excellent presentation and prioritization skills, and ability to work effectively in a high stress environment.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Requires excellent presentation and English or Arabic written skills
• Strong prioritization and time management capability
• Communicate effectively with the C-suite and keep them informed of potential and existing issues
• Communicate effectively with media
• Experienced and demonstrating excellent judgment
• Exude credibility and trust both internally and externally
• Can think, plan and write well quickly
• Expertise in managing very sensitive, multi-faceted corporate and/or hospital related crises
• Experience with intricate media relations, strategic corporate messaging, community relations, internal communications, and social media
• Familiar with the corporate and government lay of the land

Requirements
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Media Studies, journalism or equivalent education
Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in journalism in the same capacity out of which at least 2 years in crisis communications in a large organization preferably in the healthcare industry.
