Interactive Flash developer/designer | Dubai

Our client a successful digital design agency in the region is seeking a strong Flash Developer/designer for their Dubai based office.

Reporting to the Creative Director, your primary role will be to dynamically code & animate artwork provided by the Art Directors/designers. As an integral member of the Design team, the Flash Developer is the final link between the Designers and the backend programmers– implementing advanced front end & back end Flash, including AS3 for the agencies varied platform and digital projects. You will be involved in early conceptual thinking to maximize potential of flash and scripting. You will prepare vector graphics for flash integration and implement based on design files and story boards approved by designers/art directors. You will develop flash projects in order to maximize optimization, add functionality to flash assets provided and to enable SEO and SEO compatibility. You will also be responsible for researching and developing new Flash based techniques.

As the ideal candidate you must possess strong skills in AS2.0 and AS3.0, flash video communication server and XML. You must be competent in Flash design and animation, Photoshop and Illustrator. Knowledge of Papervision 3D, Flex, Java and coding design a plus. Experience in PHP/MySQL, HTML/CSS and motion graphics are all a big advantage.

You will have the ability to work under pressure, deliver and communicate all materials according to set guidelines. Arabic language an advantage although not essential.
