Web Developer | Media Watch Middle East Dubai
Job responsibilities will include:
- Update and maintain websites for a number of our clients.
- Translate design mock-ups into XHTML pages
- Able to build rapid prototypes with XHTML/CSS
- Knowledge of CSS, XHTML and creating table-less websites
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, and image optimization for the Web
- Able to hand code HTML/XHTML, which validates against current Web Standards
- Understanding of cross-browser and cross-platform issues.
- Implementation of JS libraries/prototypes like Mootools, JQuery, Scriptaculous etc.
Must have:
Excellent understanding and experience with Web site layouts and usability design
Experience in using wireframes and other information architecture deliverables for front-end development and prototyping
At least 3+ years work experience
Nice to have:
Experience with advanced JavaScript, PHP, DHTML, AJAX, or any other fashionable acronyms.
Experience with Textpattern or any other open-source CMS is a huge plus.
Experience with Flash design/animation and a little bit of ActionScript
