Events Coordinator | Zeenah Group Muscat, Oman

This role is to coordinate Events on behalf of Zeenah Events supporting them in relation to attending Events, meeting and greeting clients, looking after acts, coordinating acts and all administration from an operational perspective.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
*Putting together presentations for client proposals
*Interpretation of the client brief
*Attending client meetings and taking minutes
*Finding venues and measuring up areas for events
*Working with local venues – obtaining menu’s and beverage lists
*Attending the Events to assist with their smooth running
*Preparation of artist transfer – Flights, Accommodation, Visa and Transfer
*Assisting with costing to ensure that all services are charged to the client and payment received.
*Contacting suppliers to finalise costs and within budget
*Source the temporary staff for Events and organise their payment. Brief them of their responsibilities – including models
*Attending new client business meetings, selling the Zeenah Events management concept
*Working with Event Managers on account handling of certain small to medium sized events
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be an Omani national who has a customer facing persona and worked previously in the hospitality industry. They must be confident, a team player, and assertive where and when the need arises. Likely to be called upon for their Arabic translation skills the ideal candidate must be diligent and have a good understanding of the business.

The role demands long and on occasions unsociable hours, however its a very rewarding and a fun industry to be a part of.

In addition the candidate must possess:

*Presentable
*Omani Driving License
*Fluency (verbal and written) in Arabic
