As one of the largest oil and gas producers globally and the worlds leading exporter of LNG Qatar Petroleum’s (QPs) continued success relies on the ability to effectively market their LNG products globally.
QP are now seeking to hire a number of LNG Marketing Advisors to help further develop a marketing strategy for selling gas in traditional, liquid and emerging markets.

Duties will include the analysis of market and competitor data to help develop pricing principles and recommendations. To complete due diligence and prepare reports for senior management on potential new customers and market opportunities including the evaluation of credits risks, market exposure and regulatory environments.

Requirements
Required experience and expertise
• 12-20+ years experience in the oil and gas industry with a minimum of 5 years within an LNG marketing environment.
• In-depth Market knowledge and working experience of traditional (e.g. Asia Pacific), Liquid (e.g. North America) or emerging markets.
• Experience of spot sales activities including the negotiation of price, charter hires and terms
• Ability to swiftly evaluate customer proposals and new business opportunities from a quantity, price, shipment, size and terms perspective.
• Experience of developing commercial proposals to approach sales partners with new business proposals
• Maintain strong customer relationships through frequent contact and networking
• BSc degree in economics, business, finance, marketing or engineering preferably with higher academic or professional qualifications such as PhD, MS, MBA, CIM.
• Prior experience of effectively managing marketing advisors
• Strong team working and influencing skills coupled with an ability to communicate complex marketing reports and strategies with clarity to management
