The Department:
The role of the Marketing & Communications department is to:
Educate potential clients
Generate sales leads
Acquire media coverage
Create collateral for existing clients
Targeted digital and offline marketing
Internal Communications
The Position:
As part of a successful and fast-growing technology company you will be working with the Head of Marketing & Communications in the day-to-day operational activities of the department. You will gather information, create collateral, and use various mediums to communicate with internal, external and potential customers. You will also engage the media in getting adequate coverage for the organisation’s achievements.We are looking for an energetic and outgoing professional with Excellent business writing skills, Passion to grow in the field of corporate communications
Skills
Write fact sheets, case studies and other sales collateral
Follow-up with clients for testimonials, press quotes, etc.
Write press releases and follow-up with the media
Send out various internal and external communications
Update corporate website and write news items
Research, collate and create an online library on e-recruitment
Help in organising seminars, exhibitions, etc.
Assist department head on all Marketing & Communication activities
Design collateral using Adobe InDesign (similar to Quark) and Photoshop
