Sr. Marketing Database Analyst | Wunderman Cairo, Egypt
As the Sr Database Analyst of Wunderman Egypt, you will work on one of our clients, Microsoft.
• Analysis and interpretation of agency clients’ internal customer data and external data sources to support business decision-making.
• Implementation of predictive models to improve the effectiveness of marketing actions.
• Execute back end campaign analysis (post-campaign) and maintain detailed campaign reports such as a Predictive Model Scorecard
Specific Responsibilities:
• Evaluate clients’ business situations and recommend appropriate analytic approach.
• Act as liaison with local marketing staff and the Central Marketing Analytics team:
• Manage key analytic portions of a project from start to finish
1. Design research methodology and/or analytic framework
2. Select appropriate tools and technique
3. Data sourcing - coordinate data feeds and updates
4. Data preparation
5. Data analysis/Modeling
6. Conclusions/recommendations
• Define and execute control/test and back test methodology to measure predictive model effectiveness
• Major contribution in written analysis and presentation
• Active contribution to project planning and scheduling
• Strong initiative in identifying steps that should be taken with all projects
• Provide statistical consulting (e.g. working with clients and agency personnel to determine the validity and significance of observed program results)
• Supervise analysts and/or coordinators
Skills
• Highly quantitative background (degree in Statistics, Operations Research, Economics, Mathematics)
• 4+ years experience as data analyst or equivalent
• Working knowledge of SAS and/or SPSS
• Strong analytical skills with solid foundation in statistical procedures. Experience in one or more of the following: ANOVA, CHAID, cluster analysis, factor analysis, and multivariate regression analysis
• Experience with Database software a plus (Access, FoxPro, SQL Server, or Oracle)
