TV Producer | Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Our client, a leading TV company in Saudi Arabia is urgently looking for TV Producers to join their team at Riyadh. This will be a permanent, full time position with very competitive salary package and benefits:
The main duties and responsibilities of the Producers will be:
• Daily air look of the newscast to attract the audience and also coordinate the efforts of the reporters, editor, anchors and other staff for crafting a newscast which should be compelling
• Preview news material before airing, coordinate breaking stories and execute the show in control room
• Work with the creative department for the promotions and with the assignment desk to determine the broadcasting content
• Should be able to take charge of a newscast, make strong news decisions and be able to coordinate many live shots that includes the coordination, creation and execution of all newscasts
• Responsible for facilitating a project from beginning to end
• Reading, researching and assessing ideas and finished scripts
• Building and developing a network of contacts
• Using computer software packages for screenwriting, budgeting and scheduling
• Hiring key staff, including a director and a crew
• Controlling the budget and allocating resources
• Pulling together all the strands of creative and practical talent involved in the project to create a team
• Maintaining contemporary technical skills
• Organizing shooting schedules – dependent on the type of producer and availability of support staff
• Troubleshooting
• Supervising the progress of the project from production to post production
• Holding regular meetings with the director to discuss programs
• Bringing the finished production in on budget.

The TV producer MUST HAVE:
• Minimum of 3 – 5 years of relevant experience of Producing TV shows.
• Fluently Bilingual (Arabic and very fluent English speaking and writing skills).
• Available immediately.
• Ability to work as a full time employee in Riyadh.
• Producing news programs would be an added bonus.
