Web Commercial/Business Manager | MBC Dubai, UAE
On the advertising revenues front:
· Ability to develop a sales presentation and convince advertisers to invest on the site.
· Full understanding of commercial dynamics of websites
· Ability to work with editors to develop “tailor made” sponsored sections
· Will have to liaise with media sales arm to meet clients and discuss potential opportunities
· Should have a cross-media knowledge in order to optimize sponsors added value across MBC platforms
· Follow up with AMS & the site to ensure a smooth influx & posting of the various sponsorship & advertising deals
· Ability to work with creatives to better design sponsored & branded sections
· Acceptable understanding of brands and branding dynamics
On the Business Development front:
· Distribute Al-Arabiya TV via Mobile operators, promotion, reporting, VOD & audio via i-tunes
· Find new digital platform for Al Arabiya like Livestation, iphone, SoneXperia
· Supervise the marketing activities with MO’s
· Develop advertisement vehicule via existing mobile services, MMS, SMS
On the Technical front:
· Working with SP’s to facilitate the editors needs
· Ability to solve problems with SP’s & MO’s
o Late deliveries
o Content management system is down
o Delivery failure
o Messages duplication
· Customer services skills
On the statistical & collection front:
· Daily follow-ups on number of subscribers, participants, per country, per operator, per service
· Revenue updates with SP’s on monthly basis, based on confirmed stats from mobile operators
· Follow up on financial transaction up to MBC invoices collection
· Ensure all payments are done on time
