Product Manager | Dubai

Our client, a global FMCG and nutrition multinational company, currently seeks a Medical Product Manager to join their expanding regional team.

Based in Dubai, reporting to the Regional Medical Manager, you will work across the Middle East region handling the rapidly growing medical nutrition segment on behalf of this global powerhouse. Your role will be to develop marketing plans for the region by defining what is needed in each market to win and developing initiatives that support the growth plan and targets for the market. This is a brand manager role but with a nutrition and medical focus. Once you have developed the right innovation pipeline you will develop communication materials to aid the field representatives on what is needed to sell this to the marketplace and win share. You will lead the training, development and coaching of the medical field representatives who work at distributor sites in each market across the GCC. You will create, lead and deliver customized training to the medical field representatives on new product information, and helping them to understand the marketing plan, with the aim of continuing to improve the company’s positioning in the market through continued share growth and customer loyalty. Your focus will be on infant nutrition formulas, and as such there will be technical training as well as skills based training. In this role you will be travelling more than 50% of the time, so it will be hectic and you will have to manage a large number of priorities across a number of different markets.

As the ideal candidate, there are a few must haves. You must have a bachelor’s degree in medicine, pharmacy or science. You will have at least 5 years of marketing and nutrition/medical marketing/sales experience and you must be a fully fluent Arabic and English speaker. You must currently be living in the UAE and be willing to travel more than 50% of the time. You will be highly computer literate and able to create powerpoint presentations. Those who have experience of working with infant formulas, baby milk and nutrition will have a strong advantage. You will be a passionate individual, who cares deeply about people’s development, and loves delivering training. You will be a great listener, someone who understands people’s needs and competence levels and can deliver against it.
