Goals/Mission:

– The proposal Manager is the person who leads the review of Sales proposals for products and service opportunities to determine proposal feasibility and leads the development, editing and writing of proposal and other sales related documents according to offer preparation processes. This will be for Gas, Steam turbines and Generators.

– The proposal Manager is responsible for the integrity and completeness of technical and financial scope of the proposal, with particular emphasis on establishing trading terms, and will manage 2 – 5 people in the team.

Responsibility / Tasks:

– Lead the proposal management according to the business process

- Join the customer negotiation with sales to establish the proposal strategy

- Set up the proposal structure in SAP – Spiridon and align with Business administrator for tax concept and business model

- Prepare sales proposals for products and service opportunities to determine proposal feasibility

- Develop a complete understanding of the organization’s structure and key buying influences of assigned accounts

- Maintains customer and distributor contact, providing comprehensive technical product application assistance

- Responsible for validating/endorsing the technical solution

- Perform Cost/Risk assessment

- Present the relevant offers to the LOA

- Support the team members in case of escalation

- Coordinate the workload between the team members

- Ensure all other guidelines and checklists are introduced and observed

- Ensure and control the KPIs

- Ensure that all tender due dates, requirements are met

- Follow up introduction of new tools and necessary trainings

- Ensure Offer Quality, Cost & pricing Calculation
