PR Officer | Doha, Qatar
Our client, a highly ranked full-service consulting firm, is seeking a Public Relations Officer. The successful candidate will be accountable for the following duties and responsibilities
1. Preparing research and document requirements as well as processes for immigration in accordance with immigration regulations in Qatar
2. Ensure compliance with all immigration lawsregulations in Qatar
3. To complete work permit, residency and visa documentation
4. Communicating and following-up with various third parties on documentation needs
5. Obtaining certificates of coverage as applicable
6. Gathering necessary information documents from employees for processing
7. Working with government agencies for certification of documents
8. Assisting the company on sponsorship issues
9. Processing visa and work permits where applicable
10. Timely reporting of immigration tax related issues tax department
11. Maintaining immigration files
12. Co-coordinating with immigration attorneys and complete paperwork as required in a timely manner
13. Tracking visawork permit progress via immigration queue.
Skills
Qualifications needed for this role are as follows
1. Must have 5-8 years experience in similar role and knowledge of the Qatar regulations
2. Have exceptional communication skills in English and Arabic, with strong grammar skills and the ability to speak effectively and professionally with executives, managers and a variety of outside contacts. 1. Excellent interpersonal, organizational and time management skills as well as the ability to prepare detailed reports are essential to this role.
