Community Research Executive | Nakheel Dubai
Plan, develop, coordinate and participate in various research activities to identify customer preferences and attitudes and make recommendations to enhance products and services.
Identify the social, demographic and economic characteristics of Nakheel Asset Management -managed communities as a means for planning and meeting community social needs in the immediate and long term future.
Benchmark research results against industry standards.
Provide verifiable evidence and analysis to suggest potential sustainable community improvement opportunities for NAM-managed communities.
- Responsible for managing all phases of research projects and developing annual research plans in conjunction with key stakeholders in NAM.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive plan and method to conduct primary research to identify the needs and opportunities of residents in communities managed by NAM.
- Conduct surveys in NAM managed communities to determine customer needs and impressions of faculties and services; design survey process and coordinate the collection of data; compile information, analyse results and prepare reports detailing customer attitudes and trends and appropriate recommendations and conclusions
- Supervise market research interns, students and UAE Nationals in conducting and tabulating surveys, as well as in the areas of design, graphic arts and the use of desktop publishing computer software, flyers and posters to ensure proper focus.
- Compose reports to convey findings and provide suggestions for community improvement initiatives based on collected data. Advise senior management on how to best use research findings.
- Co-ordinate with agreed external agencies ensuring that they receive an appropriate brief and deliver to agreed parameters and budgets.
- Maintain and update relevant information libraries, ensuring that the data and access needs of various departments within NAM are met.
Skills
- Excellent face to face, telephone communications and report writing skills in English.
- Knowledge of relevant statistical methods and modeling techniques. Broad understanding of research techniques, methodologies, tools and market mix.
- Advanced level knowledge of using Microsoft’s Office suite.
- Advanced knowledge of databases and the management of large data sets.
- Ability to extrapolate trends, document conclusions and form reports from collected data / charts.
- Work cross-culturally in the face of the perceived barriers of ethnicity, gender, social groupings and religion.
