The Internet division from The Nielsen Company is focused into delivering research about the behavior of audience and consumers in the Internet media.

To achieve this, The Nielsen Company has created a broad range of tools and solutions based on a set of state of the art technologies that allow to measure and produce research on Internet Audience, Website User Behavior, Demographic Profiles, Effect of the Online Advertising on the consumers behavior, Video on the Internet, Consumer Generated Content and other essential aspects of the Online world.

A large part of those solutions require the intervention of the Nielsen technical support in order to help our clients in the implementation of the solutions. This requires a good knowledge of the website and ad serving technologies, as well a clear understating of the client service activity.

Job Summary:
To guarantee that the technical configurations required by the Clients and Client Services (CS), are implemented on time
To make sure that the production is completed on time
To help the clients and the CS to debug the implementation of the tools
To help the clients and the CS to answer to complex technical needs from the clients
When managing ‘Market wide’ tools, to guarantee that the deadlines are respected
To realize the ‘sanity checks’ of the Market configuration according with the NOL and Market approved rules
To alert when there is any issue that may put in complications or may endanger the market production
In general terms, help in every aspect related to the production of the tools, including testing, debugging of implementations, and technical collaboration with other Nielsen Online teams

Skills
Help desk skills
Experience with Web Analytics solutions or Ad Server solutions.
Internet knowledge, capacity to read/write HTML, Javascript, Flash and other common Internet and site construction technologies
English language fluency
Client service oriented, with a taste for details and double checking the work
Good experience with the standard computer tools: Excel, PowerPoint
