The Role

HIli Fun Citi – Tourism Development and Investment Company

Unveiled by His Highness Sheikh Tahnoon bin Muhammad Al Nahyan in 1985, Hili Fun City was referred to as the Disneyland of the GCC, hosting visitors from all over the region including several royal families and VIPs.

This much loved theme park reopened on November 27, 2009 after having undergone a complete refurbishment and transformation. Now on to celebrating its 25th year, Hili Fun City is packed with thrilling rides and adventures for children of all ages and there\’s plenty for both mum and dad to enjoy too.

This 22 hectare theme park still houses 18 of the long established favourites that you used to enjoy as a child with the addition of 10 brand new attractions such as Twister Mountain, Hili Swinger, Circus Train and Lighthouse on offer.

Due to recent developments we now have an opening for an Sales and Marketing Manager to join our team.

Requirements

1. Implement and execute all KPI’s set out in the Marketing Plan regarding tourism, operational and development marketing but not limited to annual media plans, advertising activities, event support, website, promotions, etc with marketing and communications team;
2. Responsible for development of marketing plans.
3. Work with TDIC on annual marketing plans and strategies
4. Direct Communications: Responsible for development of targeted communications via newsletters, direct mail and database campaigns;
5. Responsible for coordination of major promotions, exhibitions and trade shows for projects, with local tourism authorities and other TDIC projects – both in Abu Dhabi and at international exhibitions and events;
6. Work with hotel and tour operators in the development and management of on and off-site marketing, sales and communication activities;
7. Establish and maintain positive working relationships with key stakeholders, including tourism authority, investors, tourism partners and suppliers;
8. Monitor, report and advice management on the use of TDIC owned brand by internal and external parties ensuring the integrity of the brands;
9. Control costs and manage expenditure within allocated budget and report to manager;
10. Evaluate efficiency and effectiveness of marketing activities undertaken;
11. Undertake local market intelligence on opportunities and developments that may impact the interests of the business;
12. Contribute to crisis management and may be assigned the park duty manager responsibility.
