Web Senior designer | O2 Marketing Communications Dubai, UAE

The Web Senior designer will be responsible for the all aspects of designing websites and Web applications. Provides expert technical leadership in website design. Awareness of current trends in the brand and online design industry, working knowledge of the latest applications and software’s; and an understanding of material costs and time limits, all of which can impact on the design.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Design different types of layouts & illustrations, web design layout & typography.
• Work on multi tasks at the same time using a wide range of medias, including photography and computer aided design.
• Knowledge of photography and photography editing, producing accurate and high quality work.
• Produce visual solutions to the communication needs using a mix of creative skills and commercial awareness.
• Awareness of current trends in the brand and online design industry, working knowledge of the latest applications and software’s; and an understanding of material costs and time limits, all of which can impact on the design.
• Delivery of proactive and reactive campaigns/activity, to deadline and target.
• Production of new websites and refresh and update existing sites.
• Work with Marketing Account Mangers to deliver content to web sites as well as reviewing all designs with the Creative Director or Art Director
• Help co-ordinate search engine optimization for all sites
• Liaise and ensure delivery of all updates to site content

Skills
5-6 years (minimum!) experience in the field
Experienced in usability requirements
Experienced in Illustrator, Photoshop
Good knowledge of Adobe Flash
Good skills in wire-framing, photo retouching, typography, info graphics, animation
Good knowledge of the local market and clients
Basic knowledge of html, css, JavaScript, query
Outstanding communication skills are also needed!
