 Manage data collection projects by meeting paper and electronic mailing deadlines, entering data, transcribing tapes and handwritten notes; learn and use technology to do these tasks more efficiently;
 Assist staff in design and maintenance of online surveys;
 Prepare print documents, web pages, and other graphics using Word, Dreamweaver, and illustration packages;
 Assist staff in writing code and analyzing data in statistical software (SPSS and other statistical packages);
 Assist staff and clients in the design, execution and evaluation of research projects, including literature reviews, surveys, focus groups, data integration and analysis;
 Produce written, tabular and visual materials for research reports and presentations.
 Assist in:
o Compilation, analysis and reporting of data to explain education phenomena and formulation of education models through application of mathematical models and statistical techniques;
o Collection of data on various education related indicators, database and trends analysis and development of models to analyze improvements and gaps;
o Creation of methods and procedures for obtaining data through testing/leveraging sampling techniques that may be used to conduct different types of surveys;
o Development of educational guidelines and standards and preparation of points of view used in identifying trends and formulating education policy;
o Formulation of recommendations, policies, or plans to find answers to minimize the effect of the various challenges facing education in Abu Dhabi;
o The study of historical trends in the education system and forecasting of future trends in areas such as education access, education quality, unemployment, inflation, growth, productivity, and investment;
o Study of the supply and demand for education in Abu Dhabi;
o Preparation of technical reports, articles or related material based on research, investigation or analysis

Skills

Bachelor’s Degree in relevant disciplineDemonstrated skill in educational research;
5 years’ experience in relevant field
Bilingual (English/Arabic) language ability preferable.
Knowledge of education plans, policies and strategies
Knowledge of statistical sampling, modeling and analysis techniques
Knowledge of local and international education and market conditions
Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative analysis
Knowledge of the principles, theories, and practices of education policies
Financial, strategic and business planning
