“Al Aan TV” Kicks off Content Syndication journey in Algerian Market

Dubai, UAE – July 28, 2013: Al Aan TV, the pan Arab infotainment satellite television station based in Dubai and broadcasting to audience throughout the Middle East, has formed a content syndication partnership with the Algerian Numidia News TV. �
Since launching in 2005, Al Aan TV has positioned itself as a channel dedicated to women delivering practical, inspirational and informative content across a broad range of genres. It became a network channel capable of providing other channels with the finest programs to suit their local markets.

Numidia News TV is the first non-governmental channel to launch independently in Algeria. The partnership with Al Aan TV gives Numedia News TV the ability to broadcast to its Algerian viewers a variety of programs from entertainment and cooking shows to news bulletins and current affairs programs. 

Al Aan’s partnership with Numidia highlights the beginning of its syndication journey as the channel seeks more partnerships across the Arab world. Syndication is an essential element of Al Aan’s distribution strategy; as hundreds of new channels are launched every year, original content is rare and difficult to find. Al Aan TV found a new niche in the evolving broadcasting industry and is introducing a more focused and economical way to enrich content in start up and existing channels to help fill their 24-hour program grid. Al Aan’s original content offers the Arab audience various programs to enjoy, this model will save channels manpower and the financial cost of producing shows with 80% of its air time being fed by Al Aan. The franchise model will allow Al Aan TV’s partners to use its content and localize the brand name for their markets.
