Axiom Telecom sole distributor of Motorola Xoom Wi-Fi tablet PCs

Axiom Telecom said that Motorola Xoom Wi-Fi tablet PCs are now available at all Axiom’s outlets in Saudi Arabia. Axiom Telecom, a specialist in tablet PCs and smart and mobile phones business in the Middle East, said Motorola Mobility, Inc. has appointed Axiom Telecom as the sole distributor of the new Motorola XOOM with Wi-Fi edition across the GCC countries.

Faisal Al Bannai, Chief Executive Officer, Axiom Telecom, stressed the company’s long term strategy and commitment to be the pioneers in providing the latest technologies to its customers across the region.

The partnership will see Axiom Telecom bring the 10.1-inch Motorola Xoom Wi-Fi tablet fitted with Android 3.0 Honeycomb operating system, to all Axiom stores across the region.

With a dual-core processor and 1 GB of RAM, Motorola Xoom delivers exceptionally fast web-browsing performance. The latest Google Mobile services include Google Maps 5.0 with 3D interaction and a user menu that is fully Arabized for the Middle Eastern consumer. Motorola Xoom also supports Adobe Flash Player 10.2 beta downloadable from Android Market, enabling the delivery of rich Flash based web content including videos, casual games and rich Internet applications.
